Unusual websites are interesting to share. http://www.ted.com features a searchable database of more than 400 speeches by some of the world's foremost thinkers, inventors and artists. Speakers are challenged to give "the talk of their lives" in 18 minutes.

i love this website, among others too numerous to list right now. the information disseminated is radical in its thinking and focusses on eating foods which our long-ago ancestors ate: eggs, raw milk, cheese, meat. it also discusses the health-related issues of foods which have been introduced to our culture which are detrimental to our bodies' well-being.

there will be things in here which ring true and things with which you'll disagree, but the whole website is invaluable as a clearing-house for dietary suggestions and food-related ideas.

Just discovered this site run by AMC. The Best Film Speeches and Monologues lets you play the clip for free. Very nostalgic!

http://www.mrpopculture.com was mentioned in a CNN Living article about Baby Boomers. The search feature is really great! Timelines and history.
